Critics have long hailed Ricky Fitzpatrick as "the next James Taylor", with a voice that's "as smooth as moonshine". Myspace recently posted Ricky as one of the Top 40 Acoustic Artists and one of the Top 10 Folk artists in the US for the state of Georgia.

Most recently, Ricky has received critical acclaim for his charitable work, as he celebrates the launch of a brand new Charitable Organization, The Healing Power of Music. HPM, which has already become home to over 70 other affiliated artists and bands from all over the world, organizes and presents free, live music to patients in hospitals and care facilities. Ricky also currently organized and heads "The Power of a Song" compilation CD project that will join the collective talents of 15 world-class musicians from a wide array of genres and from all around the globe. "The Power of a Song" will be given as a free gift to staff and patients, every time an HPM artist performs.
