“Ranked #81 in Pitchfork's Top 100 Albums of the 1980s, the title track and subsequent songs firmly established the band's identity. It only got better from here.”

“She was seventeen, wore a lot of black, and was the first woman I met with fully hennaed hair. She was a photographer, and showed me beautiful black-and whites of decrepit warehouses and silvery puddles while she dubbed "Head over Heels" and "Treasure" for me. I never got anywhere at all with her, but these two albums remained part of my college soundtrack, all five years of it. Beautiful, gauzy music, and I'm delighted to find it here. ”

“The perfect opener to a great album. It's very soothing, yet haunting at the same time. ”
