“simple beautiful folk love song. Even singing straight mountain folk songs, Kristin manages to create an emotional connection that few singers can.
I recently was playing LAura Cantrell, who is almost the opposite of Kristin in tenor and timbre and content, yet they both do beautiful renditions of Poor Ellen Smith. Laura is pure and innocent and Krisitn is the same story covered with mud and a little world weary. I would love to hear them do a duet!”

“This is a surprisingly straight cover of this song, but the original isn't very straight, so maybe that is a good thing. This song is more "fun" than many of her songs. Very upbeat, You can't go wrong downloading the entire EP!”
