Lato are a six piece band. One Drummer, One Bassist, Three guitarists, Six vocalists, and a Keyboardist. (Obviously, there is some doubling up going on.)

We have been together in this format for just over three months, although founder members Alex Lato and Jake Blair have been working together since February 2006. They were joined by bass maestro Mike Varnava in August of that year. Kiki D, band eye candy, is a long time collaborator in Alex Lato's projects, and also plays synth. The band was completed in January 2007 by the arrival of two guitarmeisters, Arnulf Ochs - of Saarbruecken - and Simon Bowker, of Redhill.

The band are launching teh hard copy of their second EP - The Scandalous EP - towards the end of this month, and their debut album, which is mostly recorded, will be launched in July. They have enjoyed global radio and podcast play on independent stations, and are currently considering offers from Indie labels in the UK.

Lato will be playing a London venue near you between now and July, and are touring Germany later this summer. Come and tour with us!!
