Simon Horner was born in Bristol, UK in 1989 and has been writing songs since 2003. A pianist and occasional guitarist, he is classically trained and owes a lot to his choral background, which influenced him from a young age.

Simon was inspired by 60s psychedelic rock, but was also greatly affected by the acoustic music of Nick Drake and James Yorkston, amongst other things.
