Barbara Sheree

Growing up I always wanted to practice law. Even in the first grade I can remember wanting to be a lawyer. But I also remember at that age writing a jingle for "Barbara Kellam and associates". All of that was to say even when I wasn't thinking about music I was. At the age of 7, I was singing in church and later on school choirs. I fell in love with harmony insisting on singing every part from soprano to tenor if I could. In the eighth grade I feel in love with poetry in Ms. Fedon's literature class. I wrote everyday and found out I was good at it. I later found out that I could put those words to music and create magic.

It was much later however after being in college ,that I got the itch to pursue what would make me happy. So I gave birth to my first project Sensual Soul working with Hitsquad Musiq in Philly, which is what you're hearing now. Upon its completion , I was blessed to perform at numerous venues ranging from Fiso's lounge , Philadelphia Convention Center, North by Northwest to opening for Musiq Soulchild and Kem at Atlantic City's Boardwalk hall with many more in between. Recently opening up at the House of Blues in AC for Keith Sweat.

Growth is a beautiful thing and that's what you can expect from me and my music, growth from life's experiences and maturity as I am maturing. It has been a pleasure to bless all of you with what God has blessed me with. And I can only hope to continue on a larger scale in the future.
