“This has been my favorite Carly Simon song since I was a little kid. It always haunted me, and left me feeling like I was hit hard in the pit of my stomach. This version is still haunting, it still leaves me with an ache from deep within, but it actually has a quality of beauty now, like angels singing. With this version you have the haunting pain, but you move beyond it to pure beauty.”
